Vehicle Registration Transfers

WeRegister4You can now transfer your passenger vehicle registration for Idaho (yes, all counties). To use our new, fast & easy service, follow these simple steps.

    • STEP 1 - Pictures

Select Choose File under "Copy of Previous Registration or Picture of Plates - Upload" and take a picture of your Old Vehicle's Registration, or License Plate of the vehicle you are planning to transfer.

Select Choose File under "Report of Sale/ Application for Certificate of Title/ 502 - Upload" and take a picture of the PINK copy of the IDT 502 Form. (sometimes your auto dealer will put it in the back window)

    • STEP 2 - Options

Choose whether you want to renew for 1 or 2 years, the year-range of your vehicle, and if you live in Ada County, be sure to choose yes.

    • STEP 3 - Details

Provide your Idaho Drivers License # or Social and your date of birth (these don't show up very well on the docs.)

Once we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email, look over the order details, and reach out if we need anything additional. Most of our customers receive their documents within 72hrs. WeRegister4You always ships USPS with Tracking, we will make sure to send you an email with the tracking number.

If you think you landed on the wrong product or service, you can start your search again by visiting our Motor Vehicle Registration Guide.

PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE PROCEEDING THROUGH CHECKOUT.
  • Remember, you own your license plates. Do not forget to take your license plates off your old vehicle. Only when you have received your new registration in the mail, place them on your new vehicle.
  • If your vehicle's GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Ratio) is over 8000 lbs, you have to register it as a commercial vehicle, in person, at your local DMV.
  • If your vehicle is used for commercial purposes, this site cannot process your registration at this time.
